Roz LeCompte: RÊVERIE is an exhibition of mixed media paintings, objects and sculpture which explore southern identity in radical and playful ways. In speaking of this exhibition the artist explains: “Tapping into the flow state has become a therapeutic practice. One that has been present and available to me since I can remember. It offers an escape from reality where I can process being human. I have become infatuated with my homeland, heritage, memories, and subconscious. What ends up on my wooden canvases is heavily influenced by symbols and images  from my dreams. The challenge of remaining open to the constant evolution that mindful expression offers is a ride I hope never ends.”
